Supervision
Derek provides supervision toward LPC licensure, and on-going supervision to explore your role as therapist and the interactive ‘dance’ of therapy. Derek has a warm, inviting style of supervision aimed at exploring not only what is happening for the client but what is happening for the therapist with the client – this allows for deep understanding of self in therapy, awareness of the therapeutic process including projection (transference), use of self in therapy, creation of ‘experiments’ and interventions, and moving therapist toward professional growth.
